This course is an extension of Bio2250 to advanced topics in modern Genetics, Molecular Biology & Genomics. The first half of the courses reviews in detail classic experiment and papers in genetics and molecular biology that inititated theoretical and technial breakthroughs and inovation in the the Science. The second half is a review of advanced chapters from Griffiths et al. (2006) Modern Genetics Analysis, 2nd ed. that were not covered in the introductory course. All presentations are student-group organized and presented.
